Rooting an android device, it has been famous since few years. As new versions of android has been released (like android kit Kat, android lollipop, etc.) there are wild number of people rooting their android devices. As Android uses the Linux kernel, rooting an Android device gives similar access to administrative (Superuser) permissions as on Linux or any other Unix-like operating system such as FreeBSD or OS X.
Rooting gives permission to modify or replace system or settings. Using application like X-mod, hacking games, modifying software of the device, deleting the pre-installed application, etc. are some of the activity that the user of the rooted devices are doing. User can do anything to any file or folder in the system. It is dangerous, and powerful to the android device.
How to Root your android device!!
- Activate Developers option in your phone or tablets etc
- Go to settings on the device.
- Click on About Device option.
iii. Click about 3 times or more number on times on Build number option.
Developers option will be activated on the device after pressing certain times on the build numbers, the option will appear on the settings of the device
- Activate USB debugging mode on the device (the option will be there on developer option).
- Download …link……………………..application on your laptop, desktop etc. and install the application.
- Connect the device on the same device that you have downloaded the application laptop, desktop etc.
- Run the application.
Note:
The software of the device may crash if the rooting process is not done properly. Some inbuilt application may not work (like Wi-Fi etc.). Upgrade the android version of the device (e.g. from android 4.4.4 to android 5.0) will be difficult.
